Concept & Inspiration
Tasked with creating a visual identity that reflects the EP’s nostalgic and melancholic tone, I wanted to create something that felt classic and tangible. Polaroid photos, printed mementos, and cloth-bound books immediately came to mind as powerful symbols of nostalgia. Ultimately, inspired by the timeless elegance of vintage book covers, I set out to recreate this aesthetic for the album art. Below are some covers that influenced my design:
Illustrations
Using Procreate, I began by sketching some different evergreen tree-themed illustrations
Album Cover Art
After deciding on an illustration for the cover art, I added the text and crafted a textured background to replicate the style of the cloth-bound classic books.
Merchandise Design
After completing the album art, I used its nature-inspired design as the foundation for the merchandise concepts. Below are some of the initial sketches, each building on the aesthetic and themes captured in the album artwork.
